P-51B/C MustangScale 1/48 Skill Level 2 plastic model kit by Revell Early P-51's were initially used primarily for ground attack duties and utilized an Allison engine. Then in 1943, improved P-51's, using the British Merlin engine coupled with a new supercharger began to arrive in England, and the difference was considerable.
